Universal Golf Foundation

Who We Are

The Universal Golf foundation is a Mexican registered non-profit organization that qualifies for tax exempt status in Mexico.

Based in San Felipe, Baja, California, Mexico and established in 2005 by U.S. based developer Club Acquisition Company (CAC) owned by J. Patrick Butler for the express purpose of financially supporting various entities, education for students and charitable causes in México.

Your support and donations to the foundation go entirely to the charities involved. The board and staff all serve without pay, and exhibit a remarkable commitment to the future of our community. The needs are great, and the opportunities to participate in this special program are many.

What We Do

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Universal Golf Foundation is to promote the economic well-being of our community by funding projects that improve the health and education of its youth.

In hosting annual golf tournaments in San Felipe, Baja California, the Universal Golf Foundation has donated more than $150,000.

Education funding is critical to the long term health of both San Felipe and of México. There are two reasons for this. First, with a good education, Mexico will be able to develop the quality of citizens to successfully manage a growing country.

Second, without the availability of good schools, talented managers will not bring their families to the area. Currently many of the students attending Colegio de Jesus School are there on scholarships provided by the Universal Golf Foundation. We donated the land and majority of the funding to build the school in 2005.
