Who We Are
The Universal Golf foundation , founded in 2005 in Mexico by Pat and Doreen Butler, Developer, El Dorado Ranch with the sole purpose of financing and supporting various charitable institutions in San Felipe with primary focus on educating the children in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico.
Over the last 5 years we have been able to do 261 scholarships:

UGF, is a Mexican non-profit authorized by SAT (tax administration system in México), to receive and assign financial donations for the benefit of society. UGF is also authorized to issue 100% deductible receipts tax payments.
Education funding is critical to the development of San Felipe and the availability of good schools and financial aid to students will improve the quality of its citizens to successfully manage a growing country. Your support and donations to the foundation go entirely to the scholarships.

What We Do
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Universal Golf Foundation is to promote the economic well-being of our community by funding projects that improve the health and education of its youth.
In hosting annual golf tournaments in San Felipe, Baja California, the Universal Golf Foundation has donated more than $150,000.
Education funding is critical to the long term health of both San Felipe and of México. There are two reasons for this. First, with a good education, Mexico will be able to develop the quality of citizens to successfully manage a growing country.
Second, without the availability of good schools, talented managers will not bring their families to the area. Currently many of the students attending Colegio de Jesus School are there on scholarships provided by the Universal Golf Foundation. We donated the land and majority of the funding to build the school in 2005.
